Across the nation, families have been celebrating the holidays with their own unique traditions: decorating the tree, chugging eggnog, going to candlelight services, or driving around to look at the beautiful lights. I have been so blessed to have families of my own to celebrate with, no matter if I was born with them or we gathered them into our family as I grew older.
But there are some people in our communities that do not have family or friends to share the happiness of the holidays. They have spent the past month seeking love in different places, turning to different means to feel wanted or needed. They are looking for support while they go through different situations, like unplanned pregnancies, made more unwanted during a season usually filled with hope and promise.
The men and women who serve in our nation’s pregnancy resource centers work tirelessly throughout the year to build relationships and guide these women and families to choose life. However, they can’t do this without facilities, resources, and continuous financial and spiritual support.
Help us love on clients of our nation’s pregnancy resource centers by visiting www.bikingforbabies.com/give. Your donations are tax-deductible, but more importantly, they could be the most important financial decision you’ve made this year.
Your gift could promise hope. Your treasure could save a life. We at Biking for Babies encourage you to start off your new year with a simple act of love that could change many lives for years to come.
