By adopting some new techniques to be more generous with our talents, our money, our time, and our gifts, we can be more generous with our selves, our compassion, our love. Sarah Swafford says, “The very act of loving is an act of self-donation, of giving ourselves to another.”
Pope Francis said, “I prefer a Church which is bruised, hurting and dirty because it has been out on the streets, rather than a Church which is unhealthy from being confined and from clinging to its own security.” We never know how God is going to act through us in different encounters.
