Prayer Intentions

Biking for Babies prayer intentions from the pre-ride prayer call:

• For courage to speak when we feel prompted by the Holy Spirit and courage to never back down from one of those promptings

• For Jesus to take control of the missionaries’ time, hearts, and ultimately, control of this mission. Grant them the grace to unite their suffering with the universal Church for the  conversion of all mothers and fathers who have chosen abortion.

• For a sister’s conversion of heart

• For the openness of hearts of priests and lay ministers of parishes we will encounter. That they will have their hearts open to the Lord and our mission. That they will be rewarded for  their great service to our mission

• That we may take any fear, anxiety, and doubt we are having about the ride and set it at the foot of the cross.

• For all those considering an abortion and facing an unplanned pregnancy. That they may turn  to Jesus and see His plan in it all.

• For all those walking along side women in unplanned pregnancies. That they may persevere  to the end and fight for life.

• For the Biking for Babies Executive board and alumni.

• For the safety of all the missionaries on the ride

• For all the people the missionaries encounter on the ride. For their hearts to be opened.

• For a new leader of a PRC, Scott, and his ability to lead. For PRC clients and that the PRC may find new development assistance.

• For a missionary’s sister who is 7 months pregnant

• For strength for the riders during the last week of preparation. For them not to be filled with  anxiety and fear. That day by day they may offer to you what they can. You take it and multiply it.

• For women in crisis pregnancies who are scared and afraid. Especially those who don’t have men encouraging them. That the Lord may fill them with hope and they experience joy in  choosing life.

• That the Lord may fill the missionaries with love. To go the extra mile and do the extra act of  service on the ride.

• For support crew, that they may be others-centered, love well, encourage well and help the riders to sacrifice well

• For Ashley, a single mom who is pregnant with her 4th child and homeless. That the PRC can  help find her safe housing.

• For a new service being offered by a PRC. That the classes will be beneficial to their clients  and that they can continue them in the future.

• For Vida Medical Clinic’s recent expansion, even in face of opposition. That they can  continue to do courageous work and continue to stay steadfast in their mission and love the work they do.

• For pregnant women in crisis pregnancies to make appointments at a local PRC

• For conservations to honor God in PRC relationships

• For women who have due dates in July. For each woman to turn her heart toward her child and seek God.

• For two women who said they would have abortions over the weekend. That they may have a change of heart and choose life. And if not, that they seek healing and turn back to God.

• For all the staff at PRCs who are on the front lines in the battle for life and the souls of these pregnant mothers. That they will seek and receive renewal in Jesus’ love everyday.

• For a friend who had a baby last week

• For all moms who have just experienced the pains of child birth. That they may heal quickly.

• For all riders, that they stay healthy and are blessed with great weather to ride in next week.

• In thanksgiving and gratitude for mission partners and their ‘yes’ in support of the culture of life.

• In gratitude for missionaries who have been inspirational

• For strength and courage, whether we are on a bike or in a support van, whenever we get discouraged

• For Birth Choice PRC in California, that women come and get help they need

• For Crystal

•For the women we serve…especially those in challenging situations that make them feel abortion is the only answer

•For our staff as we continue to recover and transition from the fire

•For a new building where we can continue the work we do and that we are able to have the financial support needed.

•For all the babies and children that they feel loved and cared for.

• For Molly who had to pull out of support crew due to family turmoil, that she may be able to  be a witness to her parents and also to her younger siblings.

• That we may all continue to keep our eyes set on what really matters.

• For a PRC, that they may get the supplies they need and spread the word out about their  center. That our mission of spreading the word about PRCs gets out to communities and  people know there are other options and women don’t feel like they have to do it alone.

• Offer sacrifice of our time and our pain next week. Help us to unite our offering to really give to these women what they need. That God would communicate this offering to them by your holy spirit. Increase our love for them and help us to have pure intentions.

• That a missionary can make time to reach out to people that he knows he should ask to join the mission.

• For a decrease in worry about overuse injuries and for all the riders. For strong bodies that will carry us through.

• For courage for missionaries to speak at nightly events

• That at each event God’s words would be spoken and His will be done

• For Zac’s daughter Emagene who had 4 seizures
