I caught a BABY CHIPMUNK!!!

So over christmas break I got pretty sick and started getting injured again. First my foot, then my other foot.. then my hip and before you know it I was getting an x-ray on my pelvic bone. It was not fun. But now I am getting back and have been devoting a lot more of my time to prayer. It is the most important part of my day. I am now training everyday and haven’t been injured so I am not worried about biking, but I always seem to let my guard down when it comes to my spiritual strength. That is why prayer is most important.

A big part of our relationship with God is in our relationship with people. A few relationships in my life that I really wanted to work on are the relationship I have with my nephews and neice. Last year I dedicated much of my ride to them, and thought and prayed for them throughout the trip. But before this week I had only gotten to see them about 4 times since the ride. I missed them and I missed the opportunity to be a positive influence on them. Sooo when I was offered the opportunity to go on vacation with them this week I gladly accepted and have been taking the opportunity to show as much love to these wonderful children as I possibly can! THEY ARE ADORABLE!!! and so is the baby chipmunk we caught the other day! It was all alone and going to die! I had to save it. baby human or baby chipmunk, they all deserve a chance to live…:D Well goodnight everyone. I must go to sleep so I can wake up bright and early and swim a couple miles before the kids wake up. I have also been running with my brother, which is a great bonding experience as well. He is really sore, it’s funny.

much love,
Stacy
